One of my cats was a stray cat near my grandmother's house in rural Pennsylvania.  My family was visiting my grandmother during the winter and I coaxed the kitten inside to sit by the stove. She never wanted to leave! After tons of begging my mom and lots of assurances that I would take care of the kitten, we brought her to our home and Miss Cleo lived a long and happy life.

My pets have always held a special place in my heart, and I made it my priority to care for them as best as I could. However, I’ll admit that when I first started out, I didn’t always know the best ways to look after them. Growing up, there was no internet, so my options for learning about pet care were limited. I remember trips to the library, poring over books to gather whatever information I could find about the pets I loved so dearly. Those were the days of trial and error, learning as I went, always with the hope that I was doing right by the animals that depended on me.

Now, things are so much easier, with a wealth of information readily available at our fingertips. That’s why I’m here—to help guide you not only in finding the best pet for you but also in understanding how to care for it properly. Whether you’re considering adopting your first pet or you’ve already got a house full of furry, feathered, or scaly friends, I can offer advice tailored to your needs.
